U of A Campus Bike Map Minimize

University of Arizona students from the School of Geography and Development have created something outstanding.
Students took photos and video that capure the GPS location of the area and built it onto Google maps for everyone to enjoy.

BICAS Minimize
BICAS is another great resource located in the Old Pueblo. 
Located in the heart of downtown Tucson, BICAS (Bicycle Inter-Community Action & Salvage) is non-profit community education and recycling center for bicycles.  BICAS is an educational center, not a traditional bike shop.

BICAS focuses on sustainable transportation needs and training.  Since their founding they have trained young people and adults in the trade of bicycle repair, maintenance and safety and have restored thousands of bicycles.  They have a several programs where young people and adults can trade volunteer time for a bike and then learn the skills to build the bike they want



El Grupo Minimize

El Grupo is a non-profit youth cycling team in Tucson, Arizona that affords the opportunities of cycling to local teens who otherwise would not get the chance.

No special skills or gear are required. The lack of cycling gear should not be a deterrent, as we have access to free or low-cost bicycles, helmets, lights, etc.

GABA Minimize

Another good resource for avid bicyclists is the Greater Arizona Bicycling Association (GABA).  They have local a number of different ways to participate and find places, times and others to ride with.
